This week we've got Melba the bulldog as our featured Pet of the Week.

Melba is a two year old bulldog who is a cross between an English bulldog and an ole English bulldog.

She came to the Animal Welfare Society as a relinquished pet when she had some trouble getting along with the other dog in the home. She's very loving, just like most bulldogs, but would be best as the only pup in the house. By the way, she does get along well with cat's, go figure.

If you know the traits of a bulldog, they can be kind of stubborn, they droll a lot, but can be amazing dogs in the right environment. As we always say, when you adopt a dog, you adopt the breed.

Melba is looking for a family ready to give her some love with experience caring for her bulldog needs.
