It’s Been a Hard Knox Life for Our Pet of the Week
He's come and gone from the Animal Welfare Society twice already. Just when it looked like he had found his forever home, Knox wound up back searching for a perfect match.
Now, let me start off by saying that this is a great dog. Knox is super friendly, and has a great personality. Unfortunately, both times he had gotten adopted, it just didn't work out.
First time, he was returned because his new owner was not ready for an active young dog, so he was brought back. The second time the family lived in New York City and spent weekends in Connecticut. Knox was not a big fan of the big city and got very stressed, so he was once again returned to New Milford and the Animal Welfare Society.
Now, hopefully, the third time will be a charm as Knox is ready to make a permanent move to a new forever home.
Part of the herding breed, Knox is about a year and a half old, loves to play and will need someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. He would like a home where he can run around and be his silly self. He's a perfect dog for a family with kids, and he get's along with just about everyone.
