5 New Milford Pet’s Looking For Forever Homes
Every Wednesday morning, we feature an adoptable Dog or Cat from the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford. Since we only do our "Pet of the Week" segment once a week, there are many dogs and cats that haven't been able to visit us here in the studio.
Here are some dogs and cats that would love to find their new forever homes, and they are all available now at the Animal Welfare Society on Dodd Road in New Milford.
- 1
ZELDA
Domestic Short HairZelda came to the Animal Welfare Society when her owner could not care for her anymore. It's so sad when an animal has a loving home, then things chance. You can help Zelda feel loved again by giving her a new forever home.
- 2
ROSEY
Treeing Walker CoonhoundRosey came to the Animal Welfare Society from another shelter and is about seven years old. Since Rosey is a Coonhound, she loves to sing, and gives Carrie Underwood a run for her money. If you are not into vocalists, Rosey may not be the girl for you. Remember when you adopt the dog, you also adopt the breed. Rosey absolutely loves going for walks where she can have her nose attached to the ground, sniffing around. She is a super sweet lady who promises not to drool on you (too much).

TRIX
Domestic Short HairTrix is a bit reserved but get's along well with other pets. He quickly adapts to his environment and is enjoying time with his other feline companions at the shelter. All he needs now is a new forever home where he can settle in and be himself.

HOLLYANNE
Chow Chow/Lab MixHollyanne is a 3 month old spayed female who came from a shelter in Kentucky. Hollyanne is a sweet sensitive girl who will probably find a forever home very quickly. Since she's so young, she would really like to find out what it's like to be loved by a family.

RIGGS
BeagleRiggs is two years old, and weighs in at about 40 pounds. He's had all his shots and has been neutered. Unfortunately his previous owners could no longer care for him properly, so now he's waiting for a second chance at the Animal Welfare Society.. Riggs is an outgoing, high energy boy looking for a fun family to keep him busy.
