I saw a social media meme over the weekend that made me drool, it was a photo of 4 cups of iced coffees, with this beneath the photo -  "It's always "wyd" never "let's go to an iced coffee tasting."

That's a hell of a question. What are we doing, Connecticut? Who is serving iced coffee flights right now? I guess it was only a matter of time before coffee houses adapted to the brewery and winery sales model, but why did it take so long? I love iced coffee, I recently went to a wonderful coffee sampling event from Milford's wildwomencoffee.com at the Torrington Library, and it opened my eyes to the varying tastes of the beans, and where and how high in elevation the beans grow, makes serious differences in the brewed taste. I want to do the same with iced coffee, like today.

I did some digging, and I've only found two places so far that offer iced coffee flights. The first Connecticut coffeehouse that I found offering iced coffee flights is located in Bristol, The Roasted Bean is located at 934 Terryville Ave. I did a quick search on YouTube and found a video posted by Turkishpartyboy of one of his recent visits.

Damn, that looks so good.

The other coffeehouse that I found that offers flights is TJs Burritos, which is located 3 Turkey Hill Road in East Granby. TJ's Burritos offers numerous rotating flights weekly. On this week's flight, you get to sample Almond Joy Latte, Strawberry Cold Brew with Cold Foam, Caramel Macchiato, and a Butterscotch Caramel Latte - for $9.95. Oh, but there's more - TJ's Burritos also offer a booze-filled Iced Coffee Flight, a Mimosa Tasting Flight, and a Margarita Tasting Flight.

If you're looking for me, I'm on my way to Bristol and East Granby. I know there are more places that offer iced coffee flights, hit me here and I'll add you to my list.
