Michael’s in Brookfield Gets Crafty During Move Into New Space

As Michael's in the Candlewood Lake Plaza shopping center on Federal Rd. puts the finishing touches on their new bigger space next door, they figure, "why move it, when we can sell it?"

So, if you are a craft-o-holic like me, this is your heaven. The grand opening for the new store is on March 11, but both spaces are currently open to customers. I may lose what is left of my mind! Two Michael's in the same space? I am really not sure that I can handle this.

This is also a really good time to play a practical joke on someone who hasn't been to the area in a while.

The shopping plaza will soon have a whole new look. CVS is moving into the space that Michael's currently occupies and the town of Brookfield has approved a drive-thru pharmacy.
