CT & NY Pizza Hut Giving Out Free Pizza If Super Bowl Record is Broken
Pizza Hut in Conncticut and New Yok will give away free pizza to rewards members if the record is broken for a touchdown being scored in under 14 seconds. You have until just before the game to sign up.
According to CNBC, here’s how it works. When the opening kickoff is returned, if a touchdown is scored by the returning team in less than 14 seconds, which is the current record set by Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Hester back in 2007, you can win a free medium two topping pizza. Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Hester returned the opening kickoff for a total of 92 yards in 14 seconds in Super Bowl 41. Let’s hope either the Patriots or the Eagles do it in less time so we get free food! Click here to join Hut Rewards.
Here’s how the rules read from their blog:
If the record is broken, Pizza Hut will deposit a free medium two-topping pizza into the accounts of Hut Reward members to be redeemed between Thursday, February 8 and Sunday, February 11 (including on National Pizza Day, Friday, February 9). To be eligible for this “Score Free Pizza Faster Promotion” from Pizza Hut, customers must be a Hut Rewards member or sign up for membership before approximately 5:26 p.m. CT on February 4. Hut Rewards is open to all US residents age 13+.
May the best team win...and may we all win free pizza!
