Malloy Is the LEAST Popular Governor in the Country, Report Says
I know it's not a popularity contest, but I also don't think anyone wants to land on this list. What list is it, and where does our Governor rank?
It's no secret that politicians are a different breed. Also no secret that they are often not thought well of. And no secret the Connecticut's Governor Malloy hasn't been a fan favorite in many years, if ever. Sadly though he now has a distinction that I would imagine isn't making him happy.
The Hartford Courant is out with this news, Governor Dan Malloy is the least popular sitting governor in a new poll.
The survey from the website, morningconsult.com shows Malloy with a 23 percent approval rating, but a pretty rotten 68 percent disapproving of his performance. Kansas Governor Sam Brownback is the only governor challenging Malloy for that bottom spot at 24 percent job approval. You can see all of the data, as well as the governor's in the top spots of approval ratings by going to morningconsult.com
In all actuality, when you take a look at the survey, Chris Christie wears the sad badge as the lowest rated governor in the poll, but since he recently left office as governor of New Jersey, Malloy grabs the spotlight.
