STONY HILL ROAD, in Brookfield, will be closed to through traffic between the intersections of SECOR ROAD and WEST WHISCONIER ROAD, Saturday Nov. 5, from 7 a.m. to about 1 p.m.

The closure is because of the need to position heavy equipment being used to finish up critical maintenance work on a large overhead Eversource power line next to the railroad bridge. No traffic will be able to cross the bridge in that area. The Brookfield Police have suggested this alternate route:

Plan accordingly and your day will be way less stressful.
