A power outage in Danbury is affecting the traffic flow near Western Connecticut State University. Patch.com reports that that there are more than 200 Eversource customers currently (see what I did there?) without electricity.

Although Eversource is not confirming the cause of the issue, there are reports of a downed power line on White Street. The reported outages are on Garamella Boulevard, Osborne Street, Maple Avenue and White Street. Traffic lights near the college are without power and police are on site. Eversource has dispatched untility crews to the area to restore power to those affected as quickly as possible.

There are also some other towns in Connecticut  that are experiencing power outages at this time. Eversource.com reports that as of 1:52pm Greenwich has 293 customers without power while 26 Guilford customers are reporting that they are without electricity. 6 customers in New Canaan, 8 in Waterbury, 2 in Wilton and 1 in Stamford are without power.
