Check Your Cans! Baked Beans Recalled

A popular food item and bbq staple has been voluntarily recalled.

Though the FDA closed this voluntary recall on April 12, 2018, Bush Brothers and Company states that if you have any of the affected cans in your home, throw them out right away even if there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with them. Then call the company at 1-800-590-3797 between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

This is what you need to look for:

• Best By date: June 2019 - If the best by date is anything other than June 2019, you do not need to worry about the can.

If the Best By date is June 2019 look for the following "Lot Code" which is located to the left of the Best By date:
