Statistics have shown us that people have been drinking more during the pandemic, but this may be taking it to a whole different level.

This Saturday (March 13) Chili's Grill & Bar will be celebrating their birthday, and get this, they have already started selling gallon bags of margaritas to-go.

Right now, a full gallon bag of margaritas is selling for $40 dollars, but this Saturday, Chili's is offering that same gallon of Margaritas for just $30 in honor of their birthday. That's a gallon of Chili's famous Margaritas, it's a bag so full, it may even have an undertow.

Plus Chili's will also be offering their Presidente Margaritas, shaken 25 times, for $3.13 on March 13.

Chili's also realizes that it can be difficult to plan a celebration during a pandemic, so they want to bring the party to their guests in the safest way possible, and they are  offering a Birthday Party at home by giving away birthday party-in-a-box kits. Each one of the kits includes everything you need to get a small, COVID-19 friendly party started at home.

Michael Breed, the Vice President of Marketing at Chili's told prnewswire.com that they can't wait to celebrate with their guests.

We're truly excited to celebrate our birthday yet again with our guests. While we continue to put the safety of our guests and team members first — practicing social distancing, wearing face masks, using enhanced cleaning procedures and limiting capacity in our dining rooms — we've also made it easy for our guests to order online and pick up these margarita specials to-go. Whether a guest wants to celebrate in-restaurant or at home, we want them to feel comfortable, so we've made it convenient for our guests to celebrate however they prefer.

Remember, nothing says Happy Birthday more then a gallon of Margaritas, and Chili's is pouring up a party.
