Where to Celebrate National Outlet Shopping Day in Connecticut

One fun fact about June 11, 2023, it's National Outlet Shopping Day here in the US. If you want to celebrate in Connecticut, you have to head to the shoreline.

Connecticut has three major outlet centers, they're all close to the shoreline and I-95, and only one of them is offering specials, giveaways, and discounts this weekend. National Outlet Shopping Day 2023 is a weekend actually, it's Saturday June 10, and Sunday June 11.

If you really want to celebrate National Outlet Shopping Day 2023, Clinton Premium Outlets is bringing it - Multiple food trucks, like Mike's Kitchen, Paradise Island, Hershey's and Carvel Ice Cream, and Red Wagon Popcorn, plus balloon artists, a steel drum band, and games for the kids. If you stop by center court, in front of the Gap outlet, you could score yourself a free tote bag. Nice job Clinton. Clinton has a good variety of national outlet stores, including Coach, Nike, UGG, Polo, Timberland, J.Crew, and Armani.

A few exits up I-95 North past Clinton, you'll find the Westbrook Outlets, and they've suffered quite a few store closings over the past couple of years. Currently, you'll find Williams-Sonoma, H&M, Eddie Bauer, Loft and Old Navy, as well as a few local retail stores. I do love the Williams Sonoma outlet, but this place needs to attract more retailers.

The outlet mall with the best location in Connecticut is Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Tanger Foxwoods has some of the same retail outlets as the other two - Coach, Nike, Eddie Bauer, H&M and Kate Spade, but there are endless entertainment options steps away, unlike the other outlet locations.
