
Police: Traffic Stop in Putnam County Leads to MDMA Bust, Connecticut Man Arrested
After an officer allegedly smelled weed coming from a pulled over car, police say they found a large amount of other drugs in the car.
Recently, a driver was pulled over on Route 6 in the Town of Southeast. While interviewing the driver, 32-year-old Raymond Grullon of Ansonia, C.T., police allegedly detected marijuana coming from his car.
Upon further investigation, and with the assistance of a Putnam County Sheriff’s K-9, the deputy discovered that Grullon was in possession of a large quantity of marijuana, numerous oxycodone pills and MDMA pills, police say.
Grullon was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell a hallucinogenic substance, felonies and criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
