A very special and warm welcome to Officer Audrey Ryan, who was sworn into the ranks of the Brookfield Police Department.

This Friday, October 6, 2017, she will begin a training program at the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden, CT. This intense program will last for six months, and once she has completed training at the academy, Ryan will then begin Brookfield Police Department's twelve week field training program, which is yet another extensive program that will have Officer Ryan out on the job with veteran officers from the Brookfield Police Department. The program helps to season new police officers as they get ready to protect and serve. She will learn the departments local as well as state laws, policies, regulations and all about the town in general.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Officer Ryan. May God bless you in your training and as you protect and serve the residents of our fine New England town.
