A tractor trailer rolled off I-84 Tuesday morning, causing issues for morning commuters heading through Danbury.

A tractor trailer caused some major problems with the morning commute on I-84 in Danbury. According to the Danbury Fire Department's Facebook page, the accident was reported shortly after 6 AM on Tuesday morning, and crews from the Danbury Fire Department responded to the scene, and found that a tractor trailer had rolled off the highway and into a ditch.

The accident closed the left lane of the highway between exits 3 and 2, and the Connecticut State Police and Danbury Firefighters were on the scene. The Connecticut Department of Transportation had this post on Twitter:

As the morning commute was winding down, traffic was still slow through the area as crews were working to pull the tractor trailer out of the ditch. The accident, which happened just prior to the exit 3 ramp, caused delays all the way back to exit 8 in Danbury.
