Thunderstorms Leave Thousands Without Power in Connecticut
Well, that weather we had been waiting for, it happened this afternoon. Meteorologists had been predicting some rough weather for days and it all came to fruition in several areas of the state yesterday afternoon.
Many of our Connecticut neighbors are in the dark, waiting for the power to be restored to their home. As thunderstorms roared through the area, the power went out in many towns throughout the region. As Eversource assesses the damage of those storms, they have crews currently working on restoring power to those without.
