Thomas Rhett’s Wife Shares Precious Photo of Daughters Holding Hands
Thomas Rhett's wife Lauren may have just broken the internet. Lauren Akins turned to Instagram on Saturday (Sept. 23) to share an adorable picture of the couple's two daughters laying down and holding hands.
In the shot above, the couple's daughter Willa Gray is laying on a white sheet and facing the camera with a huge smile, dressed in sweet pink pajamas with little white bunny heads all over them. She's clutching the hand of her little sister, Ada James, who is laying with her head the other way and swaddled in white.
The couple brought Willa Gray home from Uganda in May after an arduous adoption process that took a year, and by the time they welcomed her home they already knew they were expecting their biological daughter as well. They welcomed Ada James in August, just a month before Rhett released his third studio album, Life Changes.

Since then both Rhett and Lauren have been devoting a lot of time and attention to their kids, not only in real life, but online. They've been sharing a number of special moments with fans, including Ada James' stage debut at a recent gig, Willa's first day of school and some sweet family pictures from the wedding of Rhett's father, '90s hitmaker and songwriter Rhett Akins.
Rhett released Life Changes on Sept. 8. The first single, “Craving You,” featured Maren Morris in a duet with Rhett that gave them a No. 1 hit, and the album’s latest single is “Unforgettable.” Rhett became the first country star to debut at the top of Billboard's mainstream Billboard 200 chart in 2017 with the release of his third studio album.
