New Bread Shop on Mill Plain Road Brings the Bronx to Danbury

I say let's give it up for BREAD! Scrumptious, delectable, luscious, savory bread!

Ever since my two brothers and I use to toss around bread at the dinner table in the late 50's and early 60's, I've been one of bread's biggest fans. My mom used to get extremely pissed off about that 'tossing the bread around' thing, but I digress.

There's a new bread shop in town called, Bronx, Bread, Buns and More at 2 Mill Plain Road in Danbury. The name of the shop says it all. According to an article in the NewsTimes, manager Jennifer Connolly has fresh bread delivered every morning from two bakeries in the Bronx, one from Arthur Ave. and the other from Burke Ave.

The shop is opened from 8am till 4pm Thursday through Saturday, and Sunday from 7am until 2pm. For special orders or more information, call 475-329-5465.
