How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice. But  how do you get to Times Square? You need some Moonshine.

2018 has already been a whirlwind for former Danbury resident, David Robushi, his wife, Deena and their band “Moonshine”. Tonight, they are ready to take the stage at Opry City Stage in Times Square.

Since the restaurant opened last December, some big country names have graced their stage. Big names like Luke Bryan, Vince Gill, Trace Adkins and Rudy Gatlin. Opry City Stage is a new venue in Times Square bringing country music to New York City. Inspired by the Grand Ole Opry, it’s all about live performances mixed in with great food and drinks. The restaurant also has real-time performances straight from Nashville that is streamed live. There’s even a café which spotlights songwriters.

And tonight, it's all about “Moonshine”. They've been been a guest on our morning show and have played several of our live events. Moonshine also plays regularly at Rascal Flatts in Stamford. In fact, they’ll be there this Saturday night. They will also perform at the Goshen Stampede in June with Lanco.

Please join me in congratulating Deena & David Robushi, Guitarists Rex Rek and Michael Galgano, bassist Bradley Clark, vocalist Kimberly DeNardo Co, and drummer and Ray DeNardo. Way to go, Moonshine!
