Bullet Found Inside Connecticut Middle School Causes Uproar
A scary situation unfolded in a Connecticut school when a bullet was found in a classroom. Police say that a shelter-in-place has now been lifted from Clark Lane Middle School in Waterford.
The Waterford Police Department posted a message to parents on their Facebook page this morning from Superintendent Thomas W. Giard, stating that right before 10:00 a.m. today, a single round of ammunition was found in a classroom and that the building was a “shelter in place and there are no people allowed in or out of the building.”
A full search of the building was conducted by police, police K9 and staff. Nothing else was found however, the investigation continues. Needless to say, there are a lot of concerned parents and staff.
Superintendent Giard took to social media once again this afternoon and stressed that there is no threat to students or staff. He also asked parents that if they find that their children have any information to please contact the school or the police.
