CT Named Hot Spot for UFO Sightings, 5 Towns You’re Most Likely to See One
According to the NY Post, we missed a big event last week, something called National Alien Abduction Day (March 20). In honor of this ridiculous day, casino.ca analyzed UFO sightings to figure out which U.S. states are most prone to extraterrestrial kidnappings.

California came in first, with over 36,000 sightings since 1974. New York also made the top five, while Louisiana had the lowest chance of an alien encounter. With 182,000 sightings across the U.S., your odds of being abducted are about 1 in 1,833—more likely than a shark attack!
Top 11 States for UFO Sightings:
1. California
2. Washington
3. Florida
4. Oregon
5. New York
6. Texas
7. Pennsylvania
8. Arizona
9. Colorado
10. Nevada
11. Connecticut
This got me to wondering, what places in Connecticut get the highest volume of UFO/UAP sightings? Thankfully we have "the web" because it allowed me to gather that information for you.

Alright, here’s the deal: you remind me about National Alien Abduction Day next year, and I’ll have something truly special lined up for you in 2026. Picture this: I’ll go out and snag the cheapest alien costume I can find, suit up, and grab the keys to the trusty I-95 van. Then, I’ll have a partner-in-crime from the station shadowing me with a camera, as I run around town “abducting” family members who are too weak to escape my alien grip.
After that, I’ll take them to a local diner, sit them down for some food, and reveal my true identity. Bam—now we’ve got TikTok gold that will have asses in seats faster than you can say “anal probe.” So, here’s the question: can you help me remember to remind you next year? Let’s make this alien invasion go viral!
I might not have a spaceship, but this van’s got all the alien charm we need. #vanlife
Methodology from Stacker:
"Stacker compiled a ranking of cities with the most UFO sightings in Connecticut using data from the National UFO Reporting Center. Data encompasses all reports of UFO sightings dating back to 1995. Sightings with locations listed across multiple cities were not included in this analysis."
