Multiple CT Pizzerias Attending 'World's Greatest Pizza Festival'

Uhmmm... a pizza festival? Count. me. in.

Not only that - but the best pizzerias in America coming? Even better. Dave Portnoy - Barstool Sports' El Pres is THE guy when it comes to rating pizza. Everyone knows this now. His series of "one bite.. everyone knows the rules" has been going around for a long time now.

Dave Portnoy's One Bite Pizza Festival just got announced and it's happening right in New York City. It's a day where 35 of Dave's highest-rated pizza parlors will be coming together at one location for a food festival you will never forget. A ticket gets you all you can eat pizza throughout the entirety of the festival.

Of course, Dave has preached New Haven pizza forever, and multiple Connecticut pizzerias will be attending this festival. The Connecticut pizzerias that are attending are ones among his highest rated pizzerias. Frank Pepes (8.5 rating), Sally's Apizza (9.2 rating), Christo's Restaurant & Bar (8.3 rating), Colony Grill (8.4 rating), Luna Woodfired Pizza (8.1 rating) and Zuppardi's Apizza (8.2 rating) will all be attending.

The festival is taking place Saturday, September 14 at Randall's Island Park in New York City. Tickets range from GA all-inclusive pizza tickets to VIP all-inclusive pizza tickets including open bar. There are also two sessions - an afternoon session from 12:30 - 4 PM and an evening session from 6:30 - 10 PM.

Presale begins Friday, June 28 at 10 AM and general onsale starts at 12 PM. I appreciate Dave for always highlighting Connecticut pizza and pretty much comparing ever other place to New Haven. In his eyes, we will always be the best and I think he's right for that.

This festival is genius and sounds like the absolute best time. All you can eat pizza? I'm there in a heartbeat.
