Our entertainment options have been limited during the past couple of years of this damn pandemic, but one thing that I really like is how venues have adapted to present drive-in movies & live entertainment. Who knew that seeing a band from the comfort of your vehicle would be so cool?

I recently went to the new Jackass movie, it was my first time in a traditional movie theater since early 2020, and I have to admit, every time that someone coughed, it went through my mind. Put me in a car? I'm good. So, I can't wait for the warmer weather, and the last few remaining drive-in movie theaters in our area to open up for the season.

We're waiting Pleasant Valley Drive-In, at 47 River Road in Barkhamsted, you've mentioned that you're going to open for the 2022 season after the snow has melted, and the nights are warm enough so that the pipes don't freeze. Last year in 2021, you opened up on the weekend of April 23-24.

If you're up in Northwest Connecticut, or, anywhere for that matter, our state is pretty small, you might want to check out Four Brothers Drive-In at 4957 NY-22 in Amenia, NY. Four Brothers is already rocking double features 7 days a week, and you might want to leave a few minutes early so you can check out their Mastadon exhibit. Very cool.
