Popular Burger Restaurant Opens New Location in Poughkeepsie, NY

Hope you brought your appetite! A new burger restaurant just opened up shop and Eastdale Village in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Eastdale Village Grows by the Buns

Over the last few years, we've seen Eastdale Village in Poughkeepsie, New York grow into a thriving community. The 35-acre Eastdale Village is home to 400 luxury residential apartments and 12,000 square feet of commercial real estate.

That commercial real estate includes medical offices, retail space, and restaurants. In the last few months, Eastdale has added several delicious restaurants to their lineup.

The Poughkeepsie community was already thriving with restaurants like Rossi's, Posto, and Crafted Kup. Back in May of 2023, Eastdale announced the addition of an already popular Hudson Valley burger spot.

Buns Burgers was announced as the newest addition last year. The burger restaurant has 3 super successful Buns locations across the region in Saugerties, Rhinebeck and Kingston. Owners Ryan Viator and Sean Weeks were ready to add a 4th location just in time for 2024.

Buns Burgers Opens 4th Location in Poughkeepsie, New York

Since last year we've been patiently waiting for Buns to open its Eastdale Village location. The original announcement explained that Buns Burgers was set to open in "early 2024" with no specific date.

It looks like that date is finally here!

Buns Burgers announced their soft opening on Monday, February 26th, 2024. They wrote on social media:

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for... BUNS BURGERS 4 AT Eastdale Village Town Center!! WE ARE NOW OPEN!

PLEASE NOTE: As it's our first week at the new location, we are taking walk-in orders ONLY. We will let you know when online and phone ordering are up and running.

What's on The Menu at Buns Burgers?

If you've never been to Buns Burgers, you're missing out. I think it's one of the best burgers in the Hudson Valley and that may be because I love a good burger sauce.

Buns Burgers is home to Buns Sauce made up of a zesty mayo that they sell by the bottle. I like to dip my fries in Buns Sauce, it's a must-try.

They offer 7 different types of burgers! Of course, they have your normal grass-fed beef burgers, but they also cook up chicken, lamb, and veggie burgers. And Buns Burgers doesn't stop there... They also have 4 types of hot dogs on their menu, chicken nuggets and grilled cheese.

And Buns Burgers of course has deliciously creamy milkshakes from Boice’s Milk House and Adirondack Creamery.
