Can you believe that this year marks my 31st year waking up Greater Danbury. Now, I'm having more fun than you should legally be allowed to have here at Kicks 105.5. Let me tell you a little about myself: I grew up on Long Island, went to college at St. John’s University and worked in radio on “The Island” for almost 10 years before making the big move to Danbury in 1989. I have three great kids and the best wife ever. I will actually be riding her coat tails into heaven someday -- I would have trouble getting in on my own. I also coached High School Baseball at Brookfield High School for 11 years and I still do the announcing at their football and basketball games. Here are some things most people probably don't know about me: I am an avid collector of presidential campaign buttons, I actually enjoy sports video games, I DJ weddings and corporate functions, I am in the process of putting together an 'N' scale model train layout, and I have a black lab that my wife thinks I care about more than her. We also have a Border Collie that we rescued from the Animal Shelter. My wife and I also volunteer for The Hillside Food Outreach and deliver food to the needy each month. It's so great to connect with the Mr. Morning Country Nation every morning and hopefully, I can make your morning's a little more bearable. Oh, and by the way, "thanks for turning me on," and just remember, "stay thirsty my friends."
