America's Dirtiest Cities List, One Connecticut City Ranks High

Lawn Starter just dropped their list of America's dirtiest cities and there are some usual suspects basking in shame juices. New York, NY was #12 on the list, terrible Hollywood, FL was #18 and Las Vegas was #19. Here are the Top 10 dirtiest cities for 2024:

How was Connecticut represented on this filth fiesta? That is sort of a good news/bad news situation. The good news is, we have only one Connecticut city listed in the Top 100. The bad news is that the city is #37 and it's Bridgeport!

If you feel cheaper or feel as if you were let down I get it. I'm imagining many of you wanted to open this and see a surprise but no, it's the same story. If you have a guy named Stan that is known for stealing your dungarees, you work to take the pants pirate down, OR you work with Stan to find out what has him so bummed out that he has to steal your pants.

Bridgeport is our Stan, constantly ripping off our trousers, talking s--- and nothing ever gets done. He just takes our pants on the regular, everyone knows it and nothing changes. It's not like these negative reports about Bridgeport are not published on the World Wide Web, the word is out.

Does that analogy work for anyone other than me?

Inside Bridgeport's Fading Relic: Remington Arms

For over 50 years Remington Arms was one of the most vital companies located in Bridgeport, CT and their facility was monstrous. Today, there is a shell of the Remington Arms factory leftover in Bridgeport. The property is located on Barnum Avenue and it’s become a must-see spot for ghost hunters and fans of abandoned properties.
