Two Greater-Danbury Athletes Will Compete in Paris Olympics, USA!
According to a recent report from WTNH, the Greater-Danbury area will be well represented in the upcoming Paris Olympics. We have two athletes set to compete in the 2024 Summer games from the immediate area.

The News 8 reports says both Kieran Smith (Ridgefield) and Kelsey Reelick (Brookfield) will represent Connecticut and the United States on the world-stage.
Kieran Smith
Kieran Smith from Ridgefield, CT will be swimming for the United State's men's team.
Kelsey Reelick
Kelsey Reelick from Brookfield will be on the sailing team according to WTNH. It's worth noting that I can't find any other mention of Kelsey on the sailing team and that she was always a rowing athlete at Princeton and on the US National team. According to the CT Post:
Reelick, a Princeton graduate, began rowing in 2005 in New Zealand and her sister Erin was a multiple-time national team member, according to US Rowing. She has competed in multiple events nationally and internationally, and most recently finished fourth in the Women’s Four at the 2023 World Rowing Championships. She won a gold medal in the Four at the 2023 World Rowing Cup II and second in the pair at the 2023 USRowing Winter Speed Order.
Rowing News has her listed on the rowing squad in the Women's Four event.
I was not going to watch many of the Olympic events but now that I know Greater-Danbury is competing, I'm all in! USA! USA!
Note to Kieran and Kelsey, the Aussies are talking smack!
This cannot stand Kieran and Kelsey, make them pay!
