The Youtube was a copy of an educational video that described the inner workings of what was once the Union Carbide facility in Danbury, CT. It's called "Union Carbide Corporate Center in Danbury" and was posted by jjrieche in 2014.

Not only is the swag on 11 but the music is on point for a corporate video, they just don't make them like they used to.

"This telecommunications system also provides worldwide access to mainframe computers through telephone lines." How about that!?

This place must have been crazy fun to work at back in the early 80's. It was a brand new facility with it's own life and cutting edge technology for it's day. They had cool offices, conveyor belts, underground parking and a TV studio? This must have been bananas.

This is also back during a time period when people were probably drinking at work which is A-OK with me. It's time for me to press my suit, dust off my resume and fire up the frigging time machine because I've got some amazing insight to share with Danbury, CT circa 1982.

P.S. This building still exists and some people work there but it's glory days are behind it. Now it's a behemoth that no one seems to know what to do with. I could figure it out, it takes a visionary sometimes AKA a real nut job to fix problems like this one. I'd establish a commune that's sole job is to solve the unsolved, answer the great mysteries of life all while wearing shiny green jumpsuits.
