CT State Police have sent us an important warning to pass along to all Connecticut drivers.

They have a few safety reminders and want you to know they will be all over the state with roving patrols and checkpoints, focusing on aggressive, unsafe and drunk drivers throughout the rest of the holiday season. "Our Troopers will be patrolling state highways with a keen focus on those driving with distractions and those operating under the influence." said State Police Colonel George F. Battle. "Every driver has the opportunity to be our partner by obeying state laws on the road."

The Colonel went on to ask that "motorists pay attention to weather forecasts before they head for their destinations and always use caution while traveling on Connecticut roads."

CT State Troopers will also be conducting a Seatbelt Enforcement Wave through Sunday, November 26. The following are some of the Roving Patrols and DUI Checkpoints planned for Connecticut.
