It all started on November 2nd with a Facebook post by the Milford, Connecticut Police Department about a man with some type of firearm with shots reportedly fired, but not confirmed.

At the time that this scenario started to happen, I am sure no one had any idea that it would last for nearly three whole days. The post sparked some concerns from local Milford citizens about the safety of the situation and the surrounding areas, especially since the time of day was about to coincide with the schools about to be let out. Considering some of the past events, some commenters also had concerns for the safety of the officers involved. The Milford Police posted an update the following day.

Then again on Friday, they posted to remind citizens of the ongoing situation.

I can't imagine what it must have been like living in that area as this whole thing went down and what a pain in the butt everyday life had to have been. This thing went on for 62 hours, which is just over 2.58 days. The initial call was at 12:20 am on November 2nd and the ending at around 2:30 pm on Friday, November 11th. Thankfully, it did come to a conclusion without anyone getting hurt.
