As previously reported, the conditions in Connecticut are such that we could see snowfall Thursday, November 7, into Friday, November 8. The NWS says there is the potential for rain and or snow in that time frame in both the North and West portions of the state.

Are you ready for this?

I know I have a rotting pumpkin on my front porch and that thing has to go first and foremost. The most depressing sight in the history of vision is a rotted pumpkin, caked in snow. It no longer has the structural integrity to pick it up, so I'll have to break out the shovel.

The good news about the snowy season, whenever it decides to arrive, is that the potential for activities to be cancelled surges. As a person that detests activities in general, the winter brings beautiful, sweet, delicious hope for any and all activities to be cancelled.

I can't describe to you the joy and adrenaline that surge through my body when I learn of a cancellation of any kind. That's the kind of happiness you can't buy. If I could, I would buy it in bulk.
