    Cardboard Box Race

    This Saturday at 4:00pm Mount Southington Ski Area at 395 Mount Vernon Road in Southington will hold a wonderful family event. Make your own sled or just watch the race. There will be prizes for Best Construction, Fastest Time and Overall Presentation (so wear a costume or pimp out your sled).

    Extreme Maple Syrup

    Did you ever wonder how maple syrup is made? Well, wonder no more! This Saturday from 3:00pm to 4:30pm the Stamford Museum & Nature Center at 39 Scofieldtown Road in Stamford will show you what goes on when sap turns to syrup. You'll collect sap, measure sugar content, use an auger to drill tap holes and lots more.
