UPDATE 3/4/2022: According to a social media post by the New York State Police, Jacqueline was found "in good health and returned safely to her family."

The New York State Police are asking for the public's help locating a local woman.

On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, the New York State Police shared they are currently looking for a woman from Dover who was reported missing by her family. Jacqueline D. Pirir-Tec was last seen on February 25, 2022, at her home.

The NYS Police shared the following on their social media accounts:

State Police in Dover are looking for the public's help searching for Jacqueline D. Pirir-Tec, who was reported missing by her family. She was last seen at her residence on February 25, 2022, and may have traveled to Bronx, NY. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and approximately 120 lbs. She has a tattoo of a broken heart on her left cheek, and was last seen wearing a purple sweatshirt. Anyone with information is asked to please contact the New York State Police at (845) 677-7300.

Similarly, the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department is currently asking for the Hudson Valley's help locating a 34-year-old woman from Poughkeepsie. 

Leta Freedom was last seen just before Christmas in 2021. Freedom was reported missing on December 8, 2021, and was last seen between Main Street and Clinton St. in the city of Poughkeepsie.

Recently, the Ulster County community banded together to find a missing teen who was reported missing by her parents. 14-year-old Makenna Walsh was reported missing by her parents in Saugerties on February 23, 2022. Thanks to social media interactions Makenna was safely located on February 25.
