I know you love the Elephant's Truck flea market in New Milford. I've been fighting the traffic around it on Sundays for years. Antiquing is big business, and the crown jewel of televised antique appraisals is PBS's Antiques Roadshow. I love it, and I just found out that PBS is filming some upcoming episodes of its wonderful television show nearby this Summer.

Antiques Roadshow has just announced that their upcoming 2023 Roadshow tour includes a stop in Sturbridge, Massachusetts on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Roadshow filmed in Middletown last year, but Sturbridge is not too far from anywhere in Connecticut, it's just over the CT / Mass border off of I-84. If you've ever been to the huge Antique event in Brimfield, Massachusetts, you've driven through Sturbridge.

Tickets for the event are free, so if you think you have an item worth appraising, CLICK HERE (Through March 13, 2023), to apply for a pair. According to the rules, once you complete your entry, you'll be given a verification number. If you're one of the lucky ones chosen, you will be notified by mid-April 2023. It's important to note that tickets will not be available at the gate on the day of the show, your only way in is to submit your request before March on their website.

This is the closest Antiques Roadshow event scheduled for 2023, the other stops announced for the upcoming 2023 Roadshow Tour are in Baton Rouge, Anchorage, Akron, and Raleigh. Start digging through your basement, dust off the Tiffany & Co. lamp, and don't miss your chance.

Lake Compounce recently announced that they're building a floating stage, and bringing live music back in the Summer of 2023. I loved going to concerts at Compounce back in the day, and I saved some of my ticket stubs, were you at these shows?
