Movie Nights on Candlewood Lake Come to Danbury Town Park
A night out at Danbury Town Park with the family watching a movie outdoors sounds like fun, and the Danbury Recreation Department is happy to oblige.
The Recreation Department has announced a series of Summer Movie Nights on Thursdays in July, right on the beach at Danbury Town Park. Admission is free, and picnics, lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. The park's concession stand will also be open for snacks before and during the movies, which start at dusk.
Here's the schedule:
- Thursday, July 6 - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
- Thursday, July 13 - Moana
- Thursday, July 20 - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
- Thursday, July 27 - Marley And Me
If any shows are rained out, the rain date will be Friday, July 28. Danbury Town Park is at 36 East Hayestown Road.
