According to WTNH Jay Paragua’s 3-year-old son was found by a passing driver near the Wilbur Cross off-ramp after finding his way out of his Milford KinderCare. The driver apparently called the Daycare staff who had no idea the 3 year old boy had been missing.

Milford Police are investigating the incident, according to the report, as are the Department of Children and Families in CT.

The father of the child believes the staff shrugged the incident off or at least downplayed it until the passerby who found his son posted the video of it online and it went viral. When you are a parent in that situation, I can't imagine what you're feeling. When he spoke with News 8, he expressed his concerns about the entire situation and made a note to say he "really hoped this wouldn't happen to any parent".

The article states that an email was sent from KinderCare to the families explaining that they're grateful the child is okay and they're working with partners and following their guidance to ensure this wouldn't happen again.

My hands were sweating reading this and I'm furious for this parent. I can't even imagine what must have gone through their head having this nightmare story told to him.

My daughter is like Spiderman but that's no excuse for her wandering near a highway. If that were me, I don't know if I could handle it responsibly or like an adult. I'd go on a tooth chipping rampage.

7 of Danbury's Most Interesting Signs

There is a song by Tesla and the lyrics go something like this:

"Signs Signs, everywhere there's signs blocking out the scenery breaking my mind, do this, don't do that can't you read the sign?" I think the song was actually written by a man named Les Emmerson but that is for another day. Signs can block out the scenery, disturb or even make people laugh. Danbury, CT has it's fair share of signs, these are just a bit more interesting than your average public message.
