When Irving Levine opened the first Levine Auto location on Keeler Street in 1960, he thought his wife and one employee were all that was needed to ensure that they could keep the business running smoothly.

What he didn't foresee is the sudden and exponential growth of Levine Auto that would force him to move to a much bigger location on South Street in 1966, which is still open today.

By the 1970s, Levine Auto had become known among the local community as the premier supplier of auto and truck parts in the Danbury area. Whether people were looking for quality auto and body parts or a specific tool or piece of equipment, they knew they could rely on Levine for their automotive needs.

Today, Levine Auto operates in nine locations throughout the greater Danbury region, boasts 85 delivery vehicles, and employs over 170 people. Jeff Levine, Irving's son and the current owner of Levine Auto, credits the company's success to their employees and the superior customer service they provide.

"The customer service really has to be extraordinary," Jeff told the NewsTimes in 2014. "Ordinary just doesn't cut it these days. Our employees and our customers are the keys to our success. We'll do whatever it takes to make them loyal customers."

See for yourself why Levine Auto is Danbury's go-to supplier for after-market auto and truck parts by stopping by one of their nine locations today or shopping with them online at levineauto.com.
