I recently had an unforgettable dining experience at Bar Naan, an Indian restaurant in Brookfield.

Now, let me preface this by saying I'm not one to constantly talk about food or give restaurant recommendations. However, this meal was so exceptional that I can't help but share.

Are you ready have your socks obliterated? Then proceed.

New Indian Restaurant in Brookfield is Knocking Socks off Feet

Situated at 15B Federal Road, Bar Naan is currently the talk of Greater Danbury. It all started when my wife, Erica, went there last week and couldn't stop raving about it. Uncharacteristically, she asked if I'd join her for a return visit, and I was down.

Once I decided I need to write an article about Bar Naan, I was snapping pictures. I told Erica to remind me to take a photo of the exterior and then we forgot. I went back there on my way to work at around 4:15 am on Monday and grabbed the shots I needed.

When I got to work, I had a text from Erica's cousin Ali who saw me.

Another brilliant move on my part, a guy with an odd stance hanging outside a restaurant in the middle of the night taking photos. That doesn't draw too much attention.

P.S. It's worth noting the Naan bread is off the charts flavorful. I think we went through an entire loaf. Are there loaves in Indian food? How do you measure that? Is it Naan units?

From Buttons to Bunkers: The Cold War Charm of The I95 Tower in Brookfield

My name is Lou Milano, the co-host of the I-95 Morning Show with Ethan, Lou & Large Dave. I started working here in September of 1999 which means I just celebrated my 23rd year with the company and I let it pass by without even realizing it.

In my time with the station I've only been to the broadcast tower site a handful of times. My last trip up there made me think that everyone should get to see this. This is my virtual tour of the tower site from the ground. As you read this I want you to keep in mind that it takes all of these components to create 50,000 watts, one of the strongest signals in Connecticut.

A Curious Excursion in an Underground Brookfield Tunnel

Recently, I was having a discussion with a friend of mine, I told this person I'd accessed some caves and tunnels in my hometown of Brewster, NY which is just over the NY/CT State Line. He knows how much I love local history, and saw how excited I was about this journey. He told me there was an area of Brookfield, CT that I needed to see, one that most residents have never seen. He told me about a tunnel, one that was not far away from where we were sitting. I made note of the conversation and bookmarked the destination for a future trip.
