May ended on a winning note for one Danbury woman who was a lucky $10,000 winner in the Ct. State Lottery.

After all the sheltering in place and lock downs, Friday's trip to the Connecticut Lottery Headquarters in Rocky Hill must have been a sweet ride for Laura Grevi of Danbury. It was a trip that payed big dividends in the amount of $10,000 dollars.

According to ctlottery.org, Laura was the latest big CT State Lottery winner after she purchased a  30x Cash 6th Edition ticket at the Stop & Shop on Lake Avenue Extension in Danbury.

About a week earlier Elizabeth Vega of New Milford took the same ride to Rocky Hill to claim her lottery prize which was an even bigger jackpot of $100,000.

Vega picked up her lucky Cash 5 ticket at Park Lane Sunoco and as luck would have it beat 1 in 324,632 odds by matching all five numbers.
