Bus Boy is Arrested for Punching Co-Worker in the Face
Sunday night was not a great night at The Fez restauant on Summer Street in Stamford. Stamfordadvocate.com reports that a busboy was fired and then arrested after he allegedly punched a co-worker in the face.
Responding to a call at The Fez restaurant at around 10:30 p.m. police say that witnesses told them that an altercation erupted between 21-year-old Stamford resident Edgar Marroquin, who was a busboy at the restaurant, and a waiter. The argument, which took place in the kitchen of the Morrocan restaurant, was over food tickets. Police say that when the squabble became heated, Marroquin allegedly punched the waiter in the face, not once but twice. He was immediately fired and left the restaurant.
When police arrived at The Fez, Marroquin had already left but when they contacted him he agreed to meet with police and admitted to the assault. He was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting a $1,000 court appearance bond.
