Blake Shelton granted one 70-year-old woman her birthday wish recently when he allowed her to plant a big kiss on his cheek during a show. Hospice patient Elda Dotson from Kansas City, Mo., was given tickets to Shelton's March 18 concert in Omaha, Neb., as part of the hospice care’s “Gift of a Day” program.

During the concert, Dotson held up a sign that read, “It’s my 70th birthday. I wish for a kiss from Blake Shelton.” The country singer noticed the sign and more than obliged when he jumped off the stage during a cover of George Strait’s “All My Ex’s Live in Texas.” Throughout the song, Shelton edged closer and closer to Dotson, and when he went in for a hug, she planted a big kiss on his face. A birthday she will never forget, watch Dotson's encounter with Shelton in the video above.

Shelton is currently splitting his time between being on the road for his Doing It to Country Songs Tour and as a coach on The Voice. Blake Shelton tickets are moving well for the string of dates. His 2017 is going strong, as he also recently celebrated his 23rd No. 1 single with "A Guy With a Girl." At a party in Nashville to honor his latest hit, Shelton thanked his team at Warner Music Nashville and the songwriters, Ashley Gorley and Bryan Simpson.

“This is about these two guys here today,” Shelton said, thanking Gorley and Simpson for writing the hit and saying it was the “perfect time” to record it. “I have literally experienced this song in every way you can imagine.”
