Connecticut, Who Makes Your Favorite Chicken Nuggets?
If I didn’t care about my appearance, I’d eat chicken nuggets three hundred days out of the year.

Actually, scratch that—it sounds too childish. Instead, I’d eat fried chicken cutlets 300 days out of the year. I’d go for the biggest ones I can find—which, let’s be honest, are humongous—and I’d slap those bitches between two loaves of bread. And I’d do that 300 times a year.
Are we on the same page? I love fried dead chickens, so I take the topic of fried chicken products pretty seriously. When I heard there was a new list of America’s best nuggets, I knew I needed to be involved.
Let’s check the data.
What are the best chicken nuggets in America?
The folks at Yougov did the research and provided an answer.
NOTE: They stuck to chicken nuggets, tenders did not qualify for this go round.
Here are the rankings:
10. Carl’s Jr.
85% of Americans have heard of it, and 48% say they like it. Carl’s Jr. nuggets are star-shaped, ridiculous. Also, as far as I know not available in Connecticut.
9. Jack’s
53% of Americans have heard of it, and 30% say they like it. If you’re from the South, Jack’s is a staple.
8. Sonic
96% of Americans have heard of it, and 57% say they like it. Sonic’s nuggets depend a lot on freshness. Not a ton of CT locations.
7. Burger King
98% of Americans have heard of it, and 59% say they like it. Don't sleep on the King.
6. McDonald’s
97% of Americans have heard of it, and 59% say they like it. McNugget is 6?
5. Zaxby’s
65% of Americans have heard of it, and 40% say they like it. Okay, these are technically small fingers, and I'm not delighted with Yougov for the definition stretch.
4. KFC
98% of Americans have heard of it, and 65% say they like it. The internet says KFC’s newer nuggets are a major upgrade. I'll be the judge of that.
3. Wendy’s
97% of Americans have heard of it, and 65% say they like it. Wendy’s spicy nuggets have a fanbase. If only working hard had a fan base in this country, wouldn't that be something.
2. Chick-fil-A
96% of Americans have heard of it, and 65% say they like it. No shocker here, I'm sure most people would have guessed this would be #1.
1. Popeyes
96% of Americans have heard of it, and 66% say they like it. Popeyes nuggets were introduced in 2021, and they are amazing, but they will slice your mouth to bloody bits like Captain Crunch. If you love delicious fried chicken and the taste of your own blood, this is the way to go.
