Are You Freaked Out By The Eclipse?

I partially freaked my son out. OK, actually, I not only freaked him out but I freaked my own bad self out too.

I wanted to make sure that he didn't look up into the sky at the wrong time today so I explained to him that he could damage his eyes. We watched a few videos on the solar eclipse and then he asked me if we were all going to die.

Well, I hope not. I wasn't expecting to. I've got a lot of stuff to do today.

Yesterday I began looking for solar eclipse glasses and I called around to the stores in the area that were supposed to have them. No one did. Out of stock. Well, awesome, thanks so much. Who do I call when my retinas are fried?

Honestly, I don't intend to look up into the sky. I am truly fine watching it on television or the internet after the fact.
