Finding new things to do in and around Connecticut is important. With summer in full swing, many people want to leave the house and experience different things. Not everyday can be spent outdoors or at the beach when you have a heat wave like we're currently having, or if it rains (almost) every Saturday like its been.

I always keep my eyes peeled for new things to do, places opening, experiences to be had, and one came across my social feed that I thought I had to share. The place looked very unique in itself, and then I saw it was the largest themed indoor putting experience as well as having a lot more to offer and knew it had to be shared.

Largest Indoor Themed Mini Golf Course in the World is a Short Drive From Connecticut

What a unique place! Not only does it have an unreal mini golf course with immersive, themed courses, it also has 32 lanes of bowling and a unique dining experience. It brings immersive gaming to the next level, in my opinion.

The unique place is called Albatross and their slogan matches their vibe - "where everyone flies first class." This place is very interesting and not like many others. They stick out for being the largest indoor-themed putting experience in the entire world.

Albatross is located at 991 US Route 1 in Edison, New Jersey. While it's not in Danbury's back yard, it makes for a very easy trip and the perfect mini trip if you need something to do in the summer. It's about a 2 hour and 20 minute trip from Danbury, but if it were up to me, it's worth the drive.

It's exciting to see something to this caliber sits not too far from Connecticut.
