911 Calls + Photos Released as Danbury Police Seek Mother of Abandoned Baby
UPDATE: According to a press release, the Danbury Police Department has been able to identify the mother of the newborn. She is being treated at a local hospital, but her identity has not yet been released. The Danbury PD has expressed its thanks to the public for your integral role in assisting with the investigation.

According to a press release from the Danbury PD, the city's Special Victims Unit is still searching for answers regarding an infant that was found abandoned near the Polla Supermarket located at 399 Main Street in Danbury Sunday (May 21).
Police say that they believe the male child was left behind the grocery store very shortly after being born. The baby was found wrapped in the clothes that pictured above.
Currently, they are extremely concerned for the well-being of the child's mother, as she may very-well need medical attention herself, and could possibly be a victim of a crime.
The Danbury PD has released the 911 calls from when the abandoned infant was first discovered in hopes that the recordings may urge anyone who may have information to come forward. Here are the calls:
