You're invited to tour the Titan Submersible that led the expedition 12,800 feet below the Atlantic Ocean to explore the Titanic.

The submersible will stop at the Greenwich Water Club from 10 AM to noon on October 29 and 30. On August 10, 2021, OceanGate Expeditions wrapped up six great weeks of dives aboard Titan, the world's only 5-person submersible that descended 13,123 feet to the ocean floor 370 miles off St. John's, Newfoundland.

The photographs and videos of the Titanic taken during the expedition are fascinating. Stockton Rush, the co-founder of OceanGate Inc. and submersible pilot, posted the following on the ocenangateexpeditions.com website,

This inaugural deployment of the Titan submersible, its innovative launch and retrieval system, and its groundbreaking technology opens the door to expeditions and discoveries around the world. The company plans annual expeditions to the Titanic and additional expeditions to a variety of sites such as hydrothermal vents, unique biological ecosystems, and shipwrecks from every era of history.
