According to an article on ctinsider.com, Superintendent Sal Pascarella's simple answer was, "It's all speculative," which means the state hasn't provided any policy guidance just yet. The questions that need answering are, what measures need to be taken to ensure each student's safety?

Other considerations include the number of students in each classroom, along with bus transportation. When it comes to inviting students back to school in the fall, it all boils down to preserving the health of both teachers and students. Here's what Superintendent Pascarella told the Newstimes,

Parents would like the youngsters to experience school again as normal as possible. If something were to happen, a blend back and forth would be helpful.

Pascarella seems to think that there will be a combination of in-classroom and distance learning when the upcoming school year begins. On Monday, parents tuned in to a virtual forum where they were asked to voice their concerns about the upcoming school year.

Parents voiced their concerns about their kids and their lack of socialization. Pascarella also agreed that younger children need to be with their teachers. There is another forum scheduled for this Friday, June 26 at 9 am which will be recorded.
