Weird Sign in CT: ‘There is a Hole in My Yard Filled with Soup’
Well, this one is even weird for Connecticut.
Someone recently shared a post to the Connecticut Reddit page of a poster they saw in their neighborhood. The paper was stapled to a pole in New Haven and a photo of the sign was shared by a user that goes by bucketmorris. This is the photo in question.

You read that right, it says "There is a hole in my yard filled with soup. I ladle and I ladle but it keeps refilling. Where is the source, I'm scared to investigate. HELP! Public Works keeps hanging up on me. Cup $3 bowl $5 Text Nathan."
WOW, I love this so much! This is either a wonderfully creative mind passing the time or, could it be? Oooooh, I know it's not true but I want it to be in the worst way.
Here were some of the Reddit comments that followed.
lazy-but-talented: "Are your walls wet? Let me dry them, call Tommy’s drywall."
awebr: "I saw a poster yesterday with a picture of a really cool dog and it said, "have you seen this dog?" "Well now you have."
Dilettante7: "This doesn't surprise me one bit. All my New Haven friends are wierdos."
Enraged78: "This seems like a great way to get back at an ex. Leave their number at the bottom and let the hilarity ensue. "WHY THE F--- IS EVERYONE TEXTING ME ABOUT SOUP IN MY BACKYARD?!!??!"
