Mayor O'Leary told WTNH-TV about his personal struggles with COVID, saying you don't want to mess with this virus. The Mayor has also asked his police force to keep a close eye on people, groups, and businesses that are blatantly not following virus guidelines and went on to say,

We don't want to make arrests and we don't want to be COVID enforcers, but we will if we have to.

Recently, Waterbury police shut down an after-hours party on Fairfield Avenue with a large group of people making a lot of noise, but let's talk about how New Zealand got a handle on the virus right out of the gate.
