In a move that will save you time and money, Walmart announced a game changer when it comes to cooking dinner.

On Monday, Walmart announced they “cooked up a solution” for dinner with new meal kits that will roll out to more than 2,000 stores nationwide this year.

The meals will also be available via Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup. Customers can order online around lunch and pick up the same day at dinner time.

“Know what you are having for dinner yet? By 4 p.m., neither do nearly 80 percent of Americans,” Walmart said in a press release.

The meals, which are already available in over 250 stores, were developed and tested in the retailer’s Culinary and Innovation Center. Meals are made fresh to order each day.

Options include pre-portioned cooking kits, kits to accompany Walmart’s rotisserie chicken, or pre-cooked meals that can be heated up and on the table in less than 15 minutes.

Walmart will start offering their own Blue Apron-like pre-portioned meal kits. All of the shopping, chopping and measuring is done for you. All you have to do is follow the directions to create the meal with your own flair.

Pre-portioned Meal Kits will offer the following meals:

  • Steak Dijon
  • Basil Garlic Chicken
  • Sweet Chili Chicken Stir Fry
  • Pork Florentine
  • Thai Curry Chicken
  • Chicken Fried Rice

Or you can purchase the following one step meals that only need to be heated up:

  • Chicken Alfredo
  • Cheesy Ravioli Bake
  • Meatloaf
  • Spaghetti and Meatballs
  • Chicken Parmesan
  • Pulled Beef
  • Chicken Marsala
  • Curry Chicken
  • Pot Roast
  • Chicken Enchiladas

“Customers are busier than ever and we know getting a delicious dinner on the table can be a chore. We’re here to help,” said Tyler Lehr, senior vice president and general merchandise manager, Deli Services, Walmart U.S. “These delicious meals give the best or worst of cooks a fresh, easy option for dinner tonight, or later this week.”

All of the meals serve two people and cost $8 to $15, according to Walmart.
